Thanks to the Clydesdale Horse Association I was able to touch, breathe and feel this beautiful race.
These beautiful Clydesdale Horses are bred in the Gilmanscleugh Farm by Tom and Marjory Tennant, located in Ettrick, Selkirk.
And no need to convince you that these horses are more than lucky to be born in this farm.
Quick painting made in the Scotland highlands
Special thanks to Arthur, who has been with us all afternoon, telling us about the history of Scotland, the history of his horses and a bit of politics too.
Thanks to his wife, Sandy, for her patience, because when horse lovers meet, time stops… And last but not least, thanks for sharing your love for horses with me, for your time, your stories, that nice cup of tea and local Scottish cakes, Selkirk Bannock….. I looked for inspiration and came home with lot more !!
Scotland is a real Horse Land… no wonder I’m so in love with it…. My far far roots lay in Scotland…. I may have galloped on them fields in another life 🙂
